Goodrich's does many different repair services for
jewelry. Walter does all ring sizing and other
repairs right in the store. We repair all fine
quality jewelry in the store. This includes, but is
not limited to, ring sizing, repairing worn prongs,
rebuilding worn ring shanks, gold and sterling
chains, and resetting stones. We will work with all
metals including platinum which is a much more
expensive medium to work with. Platinum requires a
great deal more to heat and weld and is a very hard
metal requiring extensive filing and polishing.
These qualities make it a very desirable metal for
fine jewelry. We offer custom jewelry work and will
create unique pieces of your design. We do stone
setting of all styles.

Watch
Repair

We will attempt, in the store, to repair all makes
and models of watches. Most common parts are
available for older mechanical wrist and pocket
styles. Most mechanical watches if worn on a
regular basis will need cleaning and oiling after
five or more years, depending on the dust and water
resistance of the case.
Quartz battery watches do not need cleaning as
often, however, in the inexpensive styles the cases
are sometimes not sealed very tight. Many of the
inexpensive watches are not designed for repair,
however, often the movements can be replaced at a
reasonable cost.
We carry product lines such as: Seiko, Bel Air, and
Citizen. We are an authorized dealer for those
companies.
The watch companies that we carry make hundreds of
watch models, however, not all the models are
imported into the U.S. Only the U.S. models have
parts stocked for quick repair. Some stores buy
these watches on the open market and bring them
into the country and we cannot always get parts for
these watches. (These stores are not authorized
dealers.)
We guarantee our watches for three (3) to five (5)
years and can almost always repair them quickly in
the store without having to send them away. We also
supply free batteries for the life of the watches
we sell.
